How to Join

The 43rd Flying Club is a member owned corporation registered in the State of Connecticut.  We welcome new applications for new owner/members with the following qualifications:

All member/owners must be responsible and financially able to meet the dues, charges and assessments hereinafter provided for. They must be a current private pilot and possess all licenses, certificates and permits required by all federal, state, and local government agencies for the operation of the aircraft to be flown. Membership shall be obtained only through the majority approval of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors may ascertain and fix any other conditions and requirements of the membership as may be deemed necessary for the best interest of the club.

Steps to Apply for Ownership

1) Complete this Application and forward to Frank Campanelli, marketing officer , address below

2) Provide copies of your current medical certificate and pilot’s certificate

3) Enclose a check for $2520.00 ($2200[share] + $220[10% CST] + $100[processing fee]) made payable to:

4) Copy of the last couple of pages from your log book

5) Attend at least one club meeting

Once the board reviews your application materials we will set you up with the club instructor list so that you can complete the check out with one of our instructors.

When everything is completed we can then have a vote on your admission to the club. In the event you are not accepted we will refund your money less the processing fee and any flight time expenses incurred while performing the check out. You are directly responsible for payment to the instructor for any of their fees in regards to the check out.
